Do We Need Law in Our Life?

My Thinking

As human being we have mind to think and what is good and bad to us. What is good to us not necessarily also good for others and what is bad to us maybe good to others. So, it is very difficult for mankind to create something which will fulfill everyone's taste. These problems are the nature of the human being because no one is perfect. But, if you can create something which is acceptable by the majority of the public, then you are considered as a very successful and distinguished individual rarely existed in our real life.

Making laws, orders, rules and regulations are easy, but making people to understand and abide by the same are very difficult. It is very hard to make a law which can be accepted 100% by the public.

Even if it is the law provided by the God, still people are not really abide by the same. In Islam, the law provided by Allah in Qur'an are the ultimate laws and incomparable with any type of laws ever prepared or created by mankind. Similarly, the laws created by Allah as stated in Zabur, Taurat and Injil are the ultimate laws to be followed and obeyed by human. Yet, the were many people throughout the history of the World have done many things against the laws of Allah.

But then, we need to have laws, orders, rules and regulations to control our life and living. We need law in respect to the prevention of crimes, drugs misuses, banking and business, customary laws, road and traffic laws and many other laws to protect our life and living.

In fact, when we step out from our house every day, we are bound to follow the laws. We must have a valid driving license to go to our destination and then must follow the road traffic laws or rules. There are speed limit to be adhered and fee for parking lot to be paid. Imagine if there is no Road Traffic Law in Malaysia nowadays. Imagine how many road accidents occurred every day.....and every where.

Imagine about crimes committed every second if there is no laws preventing the crimes. Just think about theft, house breaking ( whether by day or by night ), manslaughter, causing grievous hurt, murder, fraudulent, mischief, misconduct, misdemeanor, robbery, outraging modesty, rape, sodomy, trespassing, assault and battery and many other offences committed every second by criminals because no criminal law is to be implemented.

Modern life and living need more and better laws and orders to suite the requirements con temporarily. So the applicable laws have to be amended, repealed, deleted, re enacted or modified accordingly to ensure it is updated. In Malaysia, there are certain laws have been repealed or deleted such as the Rent Controlled Act or other Ordinances which have been upgraded to became the Acts under the Laws of Malaysia.

We are happy to have a peaceful country like Malaysia. We do not have a suicide bombing case and/or terrorism in the history of our modern nation. This is because we have the law to prevent such inhuman events which is known as the Internal Security Act or ISA. Though became the hot subject for arguments in the Parliament, ISA have proven its effectiveness in solving or preventing the act of terrorism in Malaysia.

The Laws in Qur'an and Hadith are much more better to be implemented, subject to modification and adjustment to make it contemporary and updated from time to time. Off course Islam and its laws have developed accordingly in contemporariness. Even Allah have guaranteed for the successful and secured life of mankind should the Laws in Qur'an and Hadith are implemented.
